At the time of writing, Fate/Grand Order was the seventh highest grossing mobile game all time. It was just after Konami's Puzzle & Dragons, which could be added to the list because it is also a gacha-based game.

My first experience with "feeding" was in Fate/Grand Order, which was initially published in Japan in July 2015 and brought in a total of $4 billion dollars in the world in the year 2019. To create the most memorable character it can be I had to purchase duplicates of D2R Items each one. And when a specific announcement came up, I ended up dropping up to 300 euros in order to get the five-star character I'd wanted since a long time. However, I never obtained the replicas I needed in order to see the full potential of this character. With the average rate for most valuable 5-star characters now averaged at around one percent, it's no surprise I never managed to get a copy of the character during my time engaging in this game (which I've since deleted). At the time of writing, Fate/Grand Order was the seventh highest grossing mobile game all time. It was just after Konami's Puzzle Dragons, which could be added to the list because it is also a gacha-based game.

During an GDC 2021 panel, Genshin Impact developer Hoyoverse (previously Mihoyo) outright admitted that its method for designing characters was to generate the most money possible from its customers. Its Raiden Shogun and Kokomi character reruns of March 2022 alone earned the company more than $33 million in revenue.

The moment was immortalized in memes and mockery, much of it rooted in low expectations from the crowd: People who attended BlizzCon 2018 were anticipating "Diablo 2 Resurrected" news. But it also stemmed from the stigma that still surrounds game consoles in the West which is where the adoption of smartphones as a gaming platform has been slower than in the other regions parts of the planet.

Since it's launch, "Diablo 2 Resurrected " has raised its profile, and testing in beta and alpha stages proved that the game is a full-throated classic Diablo experience. (It was also helpful that Blizzard determined to bring it to PC.) It is believed that the Diablo series is among the most influential in modern game design, popularizing game loops that revolve around acquiring randomized "loot" to improve your role-playing characters robust. "Diablo 2" that was just updated, established this loop, and "Diablo 3," which Cheng also worked on, refined and improved it.

The 2018 year was hard for Cheng and the team, Cheng said it only strengthened their resolve to show "Immortal" as a game worthy for the Diablo series, especially since its launch on mobile is free to play and brings the series to its largest possible audience to date. The game launches on June 2.

Cheng's enthusiasm for the game was palpable during a recent interview. "I believe that 'Diablo 2 Resurrected ' will make a difference in people's views on what they consider to be the mobile version of a game," Cheng told The Washington Post. "That has been one of our objectives from the beginning. Let's improve the standards of what you can expect from the mobile games."

"I have three kids , and they're all teenagers, and they don't have the same idea of a distinction between console, computer or mobile devices," Cheng said. "They are avid gamers on all sorts of D2R Ladder Items buy different platforms."
