For being over the word count and this is when i think it really pays to take a look at your your regulations and rules surrounding your dissertation because when i was doing mine it basically said that you know your word count is everything outside of tables and outside of your bibliography and references so it got me thinking you know well if i put some more words in a table then I would have less words in my actual essay and therefore my word counts a bit lower so what i did was i essentially looked through my whole dissertation and thought what bits of information have i written down and typed out which count toward  my workout that could go in a table because if I put them in a table then it won't count towards my word count so i kind of played the system in the sense that i put stuff in a table that let's say wasn't originally in a table and i didn't really want it in a table.
