There are times, when, despite being the richest club in the world, City have to take a back seat in transfer news, and this week has been a prime example of that. For the first time in quite a while, there has been a notable lack of news about the Blueson the back pages of the papers, with attention firmly focused on the remarkable actions of Spanish giants Real Madrid. Having signed former City target Ricardo Izescon Dos Santos Leite, aka Kak, for a paltry 56 million, they followed that piece of busine s with a startling swoop for Manchester Uniteds Cristiano Michael Saunders Jersey Ronaldo. An agreement has been reached between the two clubs, and the Portuguese international is expected to move in the coming days for a world record 80 million, meaning City could actually sign135 Joe Harts for the same price asone Ronaldo!So, while all that has been happening, there has been a lack of meaningful news concerning Man City. The ever predictable stories linking us with Peter Crouch and Roque Santa Cruz have surfaced again, though it is unlikely that Mark Hughes is intending to sign both of these strikers. Instead, he is apparently closing in on Carlos Tvez, whose agents are currently negotiating with City, United, Liverpool, Chelsea and two clubs from abroad. In other news, City have rejected a bid from Sheffield United for Welsh striker Ched Evans, whilst Felipe Caicedo has been linked with a move to either West Ham or Sporting Lisbon. Firstly, Ecuadorian striker Felipe Salvador Caicedo Corozo has revealed that a number of clubs are interested in signing him.
