The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways in India is the proud owner of the impressive network of roads known as "India's Best Highway Infrastructure." These thoroughfares, sometimes referred to as National Highways, have great infrastructure and contemporary characteristics. They frequently have flyovers for controlled access, which provide entry and exit through their sides. In order to reduce traffic congestion in cities, towns, and villages, these highways are built with flyovers at intersections and have a top speed limit of 100 km/h.
India's Best Highway Infrastructure has interchanges in some places, but not all of it has completely regulated access. The Agra Etawah Bypass NH 2 Project is specifically concerned with widening a 124.52 km portion of NH 2 in Uttar Pradesh from four lanes to six lanes. A build-operate-transfer (BOT) or design-build-finance-operate-transfer (DBFOT) arrangement is used to carry out this extension.

The busy National Highway 2 runs across several Indian states, including Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal. It is also referred to as the Delhi-Kolkata Road.
