There are so many amazing places to celebrate New Year's Eve around the world, but one of the best experiences I've had was in Rishikesh, India. It was a mix of new and old, with traditional celebrations like bonfires and fireworks alongside modern celebrations like music and dancing. The atmosphere was truly magical, with the Ganges River flowing below and the twinkling lights of the city above. The people of Rishikesh were so friendly and welcoming, making it feel like a home away from home.

For me, the best travel experience in Rishikesh was a sunrise yoga and meditation class on the banks of the Ganges River. After the class, I took a walk along the river and experienced the beginning of a new day in Rishikesh, which made me feel refreshed and inspired.
